A New Chapter...Goodbye Beachbody.

If you've followed this blog for a while, you can see some obvious changes around here. All posts have been deleted, a stock theme has been applied, and there's nothing about Beachbody anywhere.

The past 3 years with Beachbody have been amazing experience, but it is something that I am no longer passionate about. Health & Wellness are some of my biggest passions, but I felt like I could no longer pursue those with Beachbody. I know this doesn't represent the company as a whole, but what I was taught to promote was that the gym sucked and my home workouts were the only way to go.

For a while I believed that the gym sucked, I mean, why drive to the gym when you could stay at home and sweat it out? Then it happened. I found myself itching to get to the gym. I completed multiple Beachbody programs and followed the meal plans, and honestly nothing worked to get the weight off. In January 2017, I took action and sought out a more personalized meal plan from a local, medical medical weight loss studio. THAT meal plan along with the program I was doing, helped me lose 20 lbs. in 2 months! That's when I came to the realization that the BB meal plan is kind of a "one size fits all" kind of deal. Also, on a more touchy and negative side... the majority of my team was made up of white women. That's not the issue I had with them. My issue was that, at our yearly Coach Summit, they felt it was appropriate to spew ignorant, racist comments like it was no big deal. I wasn't having it and isolated myself from them for the next 2 years.

I kept pushing Beachbody, because I so badly wanted to believe in it. It was working for thousands of other people, so it could be that I was the problem, right? Then I hit another weight loss plateau and couldn't figure out how to get over it. I secretly started taking this annoying ketone supplement that kept popping up on my Facebook timeline. I took it in secret in fear of retaliation from my team and Beachbody, since we were not allowed to promote ANY other product as coaches.

Surprise, surprise... that annoying supplement not only helped me get over that stupid plateau, my energy was through the roof, my skin was better, my mood changed drastically, I was sleeping like a rock and I felt like I was living life in 4K vision. So. Freaking. Insane. There was NO WAY I wasn't going to share this with other people. So June 18th 2017, I officially QUIT BEACHBODY! Now it's possible for me to help everyone, regardless if you workout at home or at the gym, and that's what I'm living for!

Although, I have started a new business sharing therapeutic ketones with people, I have learned NEVER to rely on once source of income. So I have some things up my sleeve and I'm so excited to no longer be restricted to one business 😊 Who knows what could be coming next... online boutique, YouTube channel, anything is possible and I can't wait to share it with the world!

In the meantime, if you are interested in the benefits of therapeutic ketones you can watch this short video HERE and email me to chat more.
